Frequently Asked Questions

These are only some of the questions that I am most commonly asked. If there’s anything else you’re curious about—whether it’s my approach, what to expect in virtual therapy with me, or mental health topics more broadly—I welcome you to connect here.

Session fee:

$150 per 50-minute session (individual therapy, virtual/telehealth).

A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for students or those experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to reach out to discuss current availability.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance; however, I can provide out-of-network reimbursement. I partner with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients with Aetna, United Healthcare, or Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance get reimbursed for therapy in Florida with out-of-network providers. You can check your benefits using their Benefits Checker.

What is an RMHCI?

RMHCI stands for Registered Mental Health Counseling intern. It means I’ve completed my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and am fully qualified to provide therapy while working under supervision toward full licensure as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC).

Is therapy forever?

Not at all! Therapy isn’t meant to last forever. It’s a supportive space to help you build insight, develop tools, and create lasting change so that over time, you feel confident continuing your growth on your own.
